Privacy Policy
Be Ballers Pty Ltd trading as Be Ballers Basketball Academy, ABN 19669046940, respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information, including information about children, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
What we collect
When you register a player or send us an enquiry through this website, we collect:
- your name, email address and phone number
- the player's name, age and basketball experience
- any medical notes you choose to give us
- the program or session you are interested in, and your message
- the date you agreed to our Terms & Conditions and this policy
Why we collect it
We use this information to run training sessions, contact you about your registration or enquiry, invoice you, and keep players safe. Medical notes are only used so our coaches and staff know what they need to know to look after a player.
Who can see it
Your information is available to Be Ballers coaches and staff who need it. It is stored and sent using the service providers that host this website and deliver its email. We do not sell your information.
Photos and video
Our Terms & Conditions explain how we use photos and video taken at training, and how to tell us you do not want yours used.
How we protect it
Registration details are kept in a password-protected system, and medical notes are encrypted when stored. Medical notes are not included in the notification emails this website sends.
Maps and reviews
Maps on this website are provided by Google and only load if you choose to show them. When you do, Google receives information from your browser under its own privacy policy.
The Google reviews on our home page load from Google when you scroll to them, including reviewers' profile photos, which your browser collects directly from Google. If we display them through a review widget, your browser also connects to that widget's provider, Elfsight, when you scroll to them.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email [email protected] or call 0466 555 772.
Complaints
If you are concerned about how we have handled your information, contact us first using the details above. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
